September 6

International Student Festival

Montreal is a post-secondary hot-spot, especially for international students. With the new school year about to start, the International Student Festival held at Musique is billed as the largest party of the semester, with around 1,000 international students from McGill, Concordia, Champlain, and more schools expected to attend. This event will be a great way for international and out-of-province students to connect with each other, so if you fit that bill, make sure you’re there!

Dreamhack Montreal

If you’re into gaming and e-sports, then you might not want to miss Dreamhack Montreal. Montreal Ukrainian Festival

Montreal is a truly diverse city, and cultural festivals highlighting that diversity are some of the best events the city has to offer. Festival YUL Eat

At the 17th annual Montreal Art Tattoo Show, that will become clear, as some of the best tattooists and tattoo aficionados will gather to celebrate their creations. Take in styles like Japanese tebori, dotwork, realism, and more.

Oktoberfest Montreal

Get ready for Montreal’s Oktoberfest and take in all the sights, sounds, and tastes that it has to offer while doing good at the same time. Enjoy the celebrations under a tent, and catch performances from Schuhplattler dancers and a Bavarian band, all while eating and drinking delicious German fare. And the doing good part? A portion of proceeds will go to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, so eat, drink, and be merry.

Film fanatics, rejoice! The Montreal International Black Film Festival is back this month, giving you the best in Black film around the world. Actor Jimmy Jean-Louis will be present, and the Black Market series will cover various aspects of filmmaking.
